Christina Dirkes is the youngest of seven children, which (according to folklore) makes her either cursed or magical!

She writes about messy relationships, broken people, and wrestling with Jesus’ call to love her neighbor through the lens of science fiction, horror, superheroes, and fantasy. She was the showrunner’s assistant on epics such as FOUNDATION for Apple TV+ and THE SANDMAN and THE HAUNTING OF HILL HOUSE for Netflix and most recently, worked on IMPERFECT WOMEN for Apple TV+. She has also worked for several entertainment companies including STARZPLAY, RBEL, AMC Networks, and Secret Hideout.

Christina has thirty-four nieces and nephews, which means she gets to play with kids and put them back at the end of the day, and freelances as a journalist and leads a Catholic young adult group in her spare time.
